Also in 2012, Murisa with Director Alison Mason traveled to Sarajevo, Bosnia where they attended the Sarajevo Film Festival. They also shot footage in Murisa's late grandparents home town in which they created a proof of concept for upcoming feature UPSTAIRS, in which Murisa is slated to play the leading role. While in Sarajevo, they were interviewed by several publications, and did numerous television and radio appearances about the new film which is about a young Bosnian woman who escapes the Bosnian War with her grandfather and their journey to heal emotionally through the struggle of human connection.
